Fuel for the Fight

Powerful, tenacious in the ring and with fans all over the world, Mr. Buakaw Bunchamek is a fearsome opponent in both Muay Thai and K-1 kickboxing. A multiple champion, Buakaw has fought all over the world and is one of Muay Thai’s most famous fighters.

Hailing from the rural Thai province of Surin, Buakaw's training consists of waking at 5:30am to go for a long run, before hitting the pad and the heavy bag while the sun is still rising. The fighting legend then has additional sparring sessions in the afternoon and in the evening. As a fighter with over 230 wins, who has also played professional football and starred in several films, where does he find the energy?
